‘Someone Marry Barry’ to Hit Theaters and VOD on Eve of Valentine’s Day

Digital distributor FilmBuff will release Rob Pearlstein’s romantic comedy Someone Marry Barry in theaters and on VOD on Feb. 13, the day before Valentine’s Day.

The film follows a trio of childhood friends who scheme to find a wife for their socially awkward pal Barry (played by Tyler Labine) in order to get him off their hands. Their plan backfires when his lady love turns out to be even more blissfully ignorant than him.

“Everyone has that one inappropriate friend,” Pearlstein said in a statement. “And if you don’t, it’s you. I’m looking forward to working with FilmBuff and discovering exactly who on their team is that person.”

In addition to Labine, the film co-stars Lucy Punch (Bad Teacher) and also stars Damon Wayans Jr. and Hayes MacArthur.

VOD release will include iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, Xbox Video and Vudu.
